National Poetry Month Competition

Join the Millstadt Library District in celebrating National Poetry Month with a poetry competition!

RULES:

• Competition groups are: Youth ages 7 - 12, Teen ages 13-17, and Adult ages 18+

• One winner will be selected from each age group and will receive a prize

• Limit 16 lines (+ Title)

• Poem should be inspired by the theme of "This is the World I want to live in. The Shared World". Based on the poem, “Gate A-4” by Naomi Shihab Nye (which you can read and learn about from the hyperlinks in the text.)
